DLF IPL 4, 2011, Auction, IPL 2011 Auction Players List, IPL Auction to be held in Bangalore, Jan 8 and 9
Indian Premier League Season 4(IPL 4) is all set to begin after 2011 World Cup and auction for the same will be held on January 8 and 9, 2011 in Bangalore. For IPL 4 there will be 416 players who takes part in the auction and also price has been reserved for each of the players. IPL 4 price tag has been divided into four slots with $400,000 being the base price and $100,000 base price being the lowest price.
West Indies star batsman Brian Lara is among the list of 21 players who got the highest reserve price ofUS$400,000 for the 4th edition of IPL Auction. Total ten teams would clash in the auction for purchasing best players. The agreement between the players and IPL Franchise could be for up to 3 years. Kolkata, Punjab and Deccan released all their players so they have maximum of US$ 9 Millions in hand while Mumbai and chennai retained the maximum allowed 4 players so they left with only US$ 4.5 Million.
